Instead of a plain Colorado Springs hotel or motel room, experience our comfortable Monument, CO bed and breakfast lodging accommodations and European hospitality in a picturesque, naturally gorgeous setting. We are ideally located just 9 miles from the United States Air Force Academy. Palmer Lake and Colorado Springs are just short drives away.
From our large multi-level deck overlooking hundreds of Ponderosa pines, guests can get away from it all and relax in an area aptly named the "peaceful pines." Release that stress with a soak in our hot tub or dream in front of our gas fire pit, all while admiring the stars or the delightful Colorado Springs, CO environment.
Our inn's accommodations feature spacious rooms tastefully decorated in a theme characteristic of various European locations that have special meaning for us. Our rooms provide the latest in modern conveniences, including private baths, telephones, high-speed internet access (both wired and wireless), and printer access for those who are unable to leave work behind.
In the morning, enjoy a full gourmet breakfast in our morning room, dining room or on our deck. Have an afternoon tea or beverage each afternoon in our quaint English Pub, or on our deck.
Golf is available from the adjacent King’s Deer Golf Course or from numerous other local courses. When you are ready to expand your horizons, there are numerous other
activities within an easy drive from Colorado Springs and Monument, such as gambling and skiing. World class outlet shopping is available from nearby Castlerock, Colorado and Denver, Colorado is less than an hour’s drive.
The main story, or course, is at the top of the page. We lost Kaiser on May 14th. What a wonderful friend he was to me, our family and to all of our guests. I particularly remember one little girl that was initially afraid of him. By the time she left, she was asking her parents if they could get a dog like Kaiser. That pretty much says it all.
Graduations have come and gone and our new Lieutenants have departed for their initial duty stations. Welcome to the real Air Force!
We're getting very excited to our complete family arriving in Colorado. Sandee is bringing back our two Georgia peaches on May 29th, and Kricket and her family are arriving from Copenhagen on June 8th.
Even though some of the Inn will be dedicated to family we will have limited capacity for your visit during June and early July. If not then, by mid-July and August we'll be ready to provide you with an exceptional Bed and Breakfast experience this year. Please keep us in mind for your "get-a-ways" - we love hosting small intimate events, whether it's families or friends just wanting to gather together.
Hope your summer plans are as exciting as ours are!
