Sandee Rogers

Sandee is proud of her heritage as an "Air Force brat" and later as an officer's wife. Besides being a nurse, and raising a family in all corners of the world, she has over 20 years experience in the travel business. Sandee was a travel director for Air Force wives clubs in Europe, then a licensed travel agent, working in an agency, and later out of her home. Both she and Buzz have completed a Bed and Breakfast seminar, and have waited to operate their own B&B for years. Sandee's role will be that of Innkeeper and guide to the area's wide range of attractions, while Buzz manages the business.

Buzz Rogers

Buzz has long had a dream of opening his own resort since working at his family's recreational resort in northern Wisconsin while still a youth. Before he would realize his dream, however, he served for 22 years in the Air Force, and retired as a Lt. Colonel in 1988. During this time he also married and raised 3 daughters, while enjoying the opportunity to travel all over the world. After leaving the Air Force, Buzz was hired by Digital Equipment Corporation as
a program manager, managing large computer development and operations projects. In 1997 the dream was reborn when Buzz was transferred by Digital to Colorado Springs.  Once there the family knew that Monument, CO would be the perfect place to build Rogers Inn the Pines, their bed and breakfast haven.

Four-Legged Friends

Also always eager to lend a "hand" are 2 special members of the animal kingdom: Kaiser, a yellow Labrador Retriever and Sterling, an English Springer Spaniel. They are both very, very friendly and eager to meet you and to escort you to your room!
